| This data
provides the percentage of difficult to fill or high demand jobs
that require various levels of education: less than high school or
GED, some college, a vocational or associate degree, a bachelor's
degree, or a graduate or professional degree. Because these
data are reported directly by employers, some apparent inconsistencies
may emerge. For example, teachers may appear to need less than
a bachelor's degree, when in fact, the data reflect a need for a
substitute teachers who may not require a bachelor's degree.
